An item specifically designed to be placed over the optics to prevent the reflection of light off the lens of items such as binoculars, telescopes for gun sights, rifle and other weapon sights in the visible and thermal ranges, vision blocks and laser-protective goggles. The item's design of a honeycomb material with special anti-reflection coating provides protection from glint and glare from optical surfaces without effecting the view. The item may include a flip-open cover designed to protect the filter. Packaging components such as carrying bag or case, and instruction for installation may also be included.
